What it lists
The Market awards tab of Awards (/vendor/awards) lists awards in the platform's USASpending copy whose period of performance has not ended. Filter by agency chip (the top 8 plus All), NAICS, and Ends within 18 months; sort Largest or Ends soonest. The amount shown is the amount on record: modifications, option exercises and the current obligated value are not stored. The list is cached for a day per filter set.
Read this first
The chart of awards by fiscal year comes with a coverage note. A fiscal year is marked thin when it holds under 10 percent of the median year's count. The note says it plainly: that is a gap in what was loaded, not a quiet market. When no awards are loaded the page says "No running awards are loaded yet. Awards appear here after the next USASpending load."
The award dossier
Open an award to read its status (Running, Not started, Dates not stated), type, amount on record, recipient, PSC, place of performance, offers where reported, and set-aside as recorded. Two sections follow: "Same company, same agency" (matched by UEI, or by name when the UEI is missing) and "Awards like this one" (same agency and NAICS). The page states that these are similar awards and nothing says one award follows another. Open on USASpending links to the public record.
