The library
Clause Library (/vendor/clauses) holds about 5,100 FAR and DFARS entries. Search by number, title or words; filter by regulation (FAR, DFARS), flow-down status (Required, Conditional, Not required, Not yet reviewed), contract type rule (commercial products and services, DoD, small business set-asides, services, construction) and kind (contract clauses and provisions, or regulation sections). The banner on every view is the rule to remember: contract text governs; deviation text may differ from codified CFR.
Flow-down and applicability
Flow-down answers come from 25 table-driven rules. Eight are verified against acquisition.gov or eCFR and show their source quote and edition; the rest are read from the clause text in the catalog and are labelled as catalog text until they are checked. A clause with no rule reads "Not yet reviewed" and the pane says plainly that this is not an answer of no flow-down: read its subcontracts paragraph before you subcontract. Contract-type applicability comes from 15 written rules shown as a chip labelled "rule", never as legal advice. Each clause also shows what it cites and what cites it, its prescription, and a status such as Current, Renumbered or Removed.
Check a solicitation
Paste section I, section K or any part of the solicitation that cites clauses (at least 10 characters) and press Find clauses. The checker extracts every FAR 52.x and DFARS 252.x number it finds and labels each "Cited in your text". When an embedding service is available it adds rows labelled "Similar wording"; without one, no similar-wording rows appear and nothing is invented. The result line reads "<n> cited by number, <m> with similar wording", and each row opens the clause.
What the checker does not do
It does not list clauses that should be there but are missing, does not rank by confidence, and does not judge flow-down in its results; open the clause for that. A number the catalog does not contain is not flagged as unknown, so an unavailable catalog never produces false alarms. For a reviewed list of findings grouped as can't meet yet, needs owner, flows down and informational, the bid packet's compliance matrix is the place; its rows are a starting point until a person confirms them.
