Overview
When you upload a contract modification, GovConHouse proposes each field change separately. You approve or reject each change one at a time, and only approved changes write to the award record.
Where it happens
Open the award under Vendor > Awards, then look at the Modifications card. Each parsed modification lists its proposed changes with an Approve and a Reject control on every row.
Deciding changes one at a time
Each proposed change is its own decision, so a modification that changes both the funding amount and a date produces two proposals you can decide independently. Approving a change writes it to the award. Rejecting it changes nothing.
The stale-value guard
A change is refused with a conflict error if the award's field no longer holds the value the change was proposed against. That happens when someone else already updated the record. Re-run the review against the current record rather than applying a stale figure.
The older bulk path still works
The original mod-level approve/reject control still exists and decides every pending change on that modification at once. Use it when you have reviewed the whole modification and agree with all of its changes.
