Include closed
By default the list hides notices whose response deadline has passed. The Include closed switch (helper text: "Notices whose response deadline has passed") brings them back and writes include_closed=1 into the page address so the view can be shared. A notice with no deadline always shows. Saved-search alerts are not affected by the switch.
The switch belongs to the honest empty-state screens. If your workspace does not show it, use Status: Closed or Status: All instead; both reach the same notices.
How deadlines are shown
Each inbox row shows the due date and the days left, for example "Nov 5 · 27 d", "today", "Closed Oct 1" or "No due date". Seven days or fewer is marked as soon. On the notice page a deadline ring shows the days left; it turns red under 7 days and amber under 14, and fills by the share of the posting-to-close window already used. The notice page also shows "Questions due" when the notice gives one.
Rules that hide a notice
A notice can be missing from the list for one of these reasons, and none of them deletes it.
- Its response deadline has passed and Include closed is off.
- Its status is not Active: closed, awarded and cancelled notices need the matching Status filter.
- Someone on your team marked it Not interested or snoozed it. Those stay one click away under Filters.
- It was archived by the nightly sweep (03:30 UTC) because its close date passed, its award date passed, or it was cancelled. Archived rows are kept and can be included on request.
- It is a seeded sample notice; samples never appear in the list.
- Your NAICS tab, set-aside, state, value or date filters exclude it. Clear filters shows everything again.
Empty list messages
The page tells you which case you are in: "You are caught up" when every notice in the view is triaged; "No notices fit these filters" when notices are loaded but hidden by filters; "Opportunities have not synced yet" when the SAM.gov sync has no completed run; and "No open notices to show" when the request finished with 0 rows. A View data sources link opens the freshness page.
