What GovConHouse is
A workspace for finding federal contract notices, deciding which to pursue, assembling the response, and keeping the record of what you sent. Notices come from SAM.gov and award history from USASpending; both are read into the platform's own database, and every page says which source and date it reads. Nothing is sent to the government on your behalf.
The first hour
Five steps, in this order, make the rest of the platform work.
- Accept your invitation (the link works once and expires after 7 days) and set a password of at least 12 characters.
- Fill the Company Profile: look up your UEI, confirm NAICS codes and set-asides, pick a home state and a facility clearance. The profile meter shows what each missing item blocks.
- Open Opportunities. The NAICS tabs come from your profile; triage the inbox with Add to pipeline, Track, Snooze or Not interested.
- Save a search as an alert so new matches reach you daily, and turn on two-factor authentication under Settings > Account > Security.
- Open a pursuit from the Pipeline, record the bid decision on the notice page, and start a bid packet from the pursuit.
Where things live
Opportunities (nav label Contracts) for notices; Pipeline for pursuits; Bid Packets for responses; Awards for contracts you hold; Alerts for saved searches; Deadlines for what closes when; Teaming, Competitors, Agency Intelligence, NAICS Explorer and Recompete Radar for market work; Settings for your account and team. Help Center and FAQ sit under Resources.
The checklist in the app
Getting started (/vendor/getting-started) shows an 8-stage checklist from completing your profile to post-award tracking. Its progress counter reads only two stages today: the profile and the approval of an AI-extracted profile, and that approval can be skipped. Treat the rest as a reading order, not as tracked work.
